Meet Attorney Kurt Benecke

Kurt Benecke is a trial lawyer who has spent his career in the courtroom. After earning his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, he built over two decades of experience as a litigator — trying cases to jury verdict, cross-examining expert witnesses, and fighting for people who have been seriously injured by the negligence of others.

He founded Benecke Injury Law LLC in Joplin, Missouri with a straightforward philosophy: injured people deserve an attorney who will actually fight for them — not one who rubber-stamps lowball settlement offers and moves on to the next file.

Kurt’s practice focuses on car accident and truck accident injury cases throughout Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas. He represents real people — working families, parents, and individuals whose lives have been turned upside down by someone else’s carelessness. He handles every case personally, from the initial consultation through trial if necessary.

Outside of the office, Kurt is a husband and father of two. He coaches youth sports in the Joplin area and is deeply rooted in the community he serves. When you hire Kurt Benecke, you’re not hiring a billboard. You’re hiring a neighbor who happens to be a damn good trial lawyer.
