I’m Kurt Benecke. I’ve spent over 20 years in courtrooms across Missouri and Kansas, and I handle personal injury cases throughout Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas: car and truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, wrongful death, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, premises liability, dog bites, nursing home abuse, and third-party workplace injury claims.

Fee-sharing arrangements are handled in full compliance with Missouri Rule of Professional Conduct 4-1.5(e) and the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct, with the division confirmed in writing and disclosed to the client at the outset. You’ll never have to chase me down at settlement time.
Your client is treated like my client. Every referred case gets the same personal attention as every other case I take — I handle the investigation, the medical records, the demand, and the negotiation personally. No case managers, no assembly line.
Your relationship is respected. The client came from you, and they go back to you. When the injury case is resolved, your client returns to you for everything else. I don’t cross-sell, and I don’t keep your client.
You stay informed. Regular status updates at every significant stage — filing, demand, mediation, settlement discussions, and trial. You’ll never wonder what’s happening with a case you referred.
Cases I’m Looking For
Motor vehicle collisions with significant injuries, commercial truck accidents, wrongful death, motorcycle accidents, uninsured/underinsured motorist disputes, and injury cases where the insurance company is betting your client won’t find a lawyer willing to try the case. I also co-counsel on cases where you want to stay involved — sharing the work and the fee in proportion to our respective roles, or on a joint-responsibility basis where the rules allow.
