Meet Attorney Kurt Benecke

Kurt Benecke is a trial lawyer who has spent his career in the courtroom. After earning his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, he built over two decades of experience as a courtroom litigator — trying cases to jury verdict, examining witnesses under oath, and fighting for people who’ve been wronged.
He founded Benecke Injury Law LLC in Joplin, Missouri with a straightforward philosophy: injured people deserve an attorney who will actually fight for them — not one who rubber-stamps lowball settlement offers from insurance companies. Kurt has the courtroom experience to back that up. Over 20 years of litigation, he has tried complex cases involving expert witnesses, forensic evidence, and high-stakes cross-examinations. He has handled cases involving wrongful death, permanent disability, and disfigurement, and he knows how to identify every source of value in a case and fight for maximum compensation. Kurt’s practice focuses on car accident and truck accident injury cases throughout Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.
